O vile pain, what could be worse? Kidneystones

LIGHTS ON IN THE HOUSE!

It's 7:30 pm. Just came home from Scott's for a while.

Downed some glucose tabs and a can of sardines and Triscuits.

His kidney stones are back. Oh, most vile of pains and torment!

He came over this morning and said he felt GREAT.

He started my car and left the motor running for 10 minutes.

I had eaten my delicious omelet outside today- with sliced sausage from Harry and David -
and noticed spider webs were growing on the car!

Talk about opportunistic!

Wrote New Directions and asked members to partake in a project, outlined
on PBS last night by Mark Hyman, MD.

By eating certain foods and composting you are helping climate change.

Read here.

Am working hard on submitting items to BLOOD AND THUNDER. It's an excellent
publication where all material must relate to healthcare.

Did I tell you I received an anthology of best writing by Adelaide Review?

My true story Letter to Stephen was published. Scott and I attended his funeral.
We were quite late as we couldn't find Levine and Sons Funeral Parlor.

The winner of the story contest was a woman named Joanna Kadish for her story
WHEN THE SKY STOPPED BREATHING.

It was about her sons Aaron and Jared. They followed their friends and tried
fentanyl. They were addicted after four times. Sadly, they both died.

Their mom has become an anti-opioid crusader.

Gonna go back to Scott's again. Good luck, my love.

KIDNEY STONES

Teeny tiny black dots
so powerful they
can make a grown man
writhe on the floor with agony

Every part of our body
can explode with pain.
This is Scott's cross to bear.
