Since 1968, the Douty Foundation has provided funding to organizations working to foster equitable opportunities for children and youth in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania.
The foundation supports organizations that:
• have demonstrated roots within the community;
• have a commitment to community engagement;
• have limited access to funding sources;
• provide or promote educational opportunities for children and youth;
• are focused on long-term social change through its work;
• are willing to take risks in terms of program delivery or the development of solutions to needs or problems

Fall 2019 ‘Immigrant Communities Safe & Thriving’: We are thrilled to announce our cohort of organizations that will be supported with Douty funding over the next 3 years. We hope that our multi-year support will help build the capacity of the individual organizations involved and also help build the collective power of our immigrant communities and friends. We look forward to opportunities to listen, learn and grow together.
2019: The Douty Foundation is part of the inaugural Equity cohort of Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia: a peer-based model that will take a deep-dive into equity with constructive support for implementing change.

The Douty Foundation was among 97 organizations across the United States which made Funders for LGBTQ Issues’ Honor Roll for our increased support of LGBTQ communities by 25 percent or more in 2016-2015.
