WONDERFUL ADVENT TEA from the Fabulous Fleishers

HAMMAN TEA: Green Tea, Flowers and Red Fruit.
Inspired by a traditional Turkish recipe,
this green tea evokes the flesh of green date
orange blossom, rose and red fruit.

AND I DRINK,
nay sip, savoring in a thick porcelain cup
with the Five Greenwold Girls plus Ma
on the steps of our former house
which is no more

Unless you drink the tea which takes us back
to anywhere we wish to go
the cemetery in Cleveland where
the tribe is buried underground
but today the sun splashes
like a turquoise Buddha
across our lawn and we remember all
