Was watching COLLEGE BEHIND BARS, a Ken Burns etc presentation and was napping. When I stood up I saw the mail had come.
I needed more postage for my two grandchildren and affixed it.
Found the mail truck with Miss Mena, as I call her, still inside.
Asked her if she had kids, since I found a Roosevelt dime.
She asked if that meant she will have kids.
If you want them, I offered.
My leg was still hurting as I was icing it while watching COLLEGE BEHIND BARS.
Selma Burke was also credited for the picture of the dime as the original sculptor had seen it.
FDR had contracted polio and they thought the March of Dimes would contribute to finding a cure.
