Owners of a coffee shop in Tacoma WA planned ahead as they knew the price of arabica beans would increase.
This is from the NY Times.
I pulled out ENDURANCE the story of Scott Kelly learning to become a pilot and almost getting killed in the process. An engaging book to read even if you don't quite understand everything.
I am only halfway finished but something amazing takes place. Scott, whose twin brother is Mark, thought he needed to have "the perfect family" in order to be an astronaut. He had read that in the Tom Wolfe book "The Right Stuff."
He began dating a woman and very much enjoyed her company. She said Yes to his marriage proposal when he got down on one knee.
Then he had "an epiphany." He did not want to get married. He thought and thought about it. Everything had been arranged for the marriage ceremony, the best men flying in from all over the world, and he decided he would go through with it.
Okay, time to get into bed. First a little snack. Meet me in the kitchen. We'll have a slice of bread with peanut butter on it.
My son Dan while in grad school would make this most famous sandwich for lunch. He also ate Raman noodles.
Offstage, I will examine the contents of the nodules and see if they are healthy.
