saw it for a quick moment
Soaking
up the rain
The
cleansing rain
A
foam blue
Once
they sat there
Eating
popcorn and watching
Amazon
Prime films
Their
laughter steaming
Up
the windows
Now
the couch awaits

What? - the jaws
Of
the trash truck and the
Final
indignity of the landfill
