Dad was so proud of this house and so was Mom.
They worked together to fix it up.
Dad died of cancer on July 13, 1980.
We visited him at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. They tried experimental surgery which did not work. He took loads of steroids to keep the swelling down in his brain.
Lung cancer with meta'd to his brain.
He was 59 years old.
Dr Day was his oncologist here.
